AwajLabs (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds and operates the mobile applications Shuno and NewsCap BD (the “Apps”) and the website awajlabs.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our Apps or website, you agree to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use trusted third-party infrastructure to run our services, including Google Cloud Platform and Firebase (authentication, database, storage, and messaging). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. News content is sourced from publicly available Bangladeshi news publishers.
We keep account and usage information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your rights”).
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent or close your account at any time. To make a request, email ataur@awajlabs.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the Apps.
